What are the trends in paint colors?

That can be a tough question. Some of it depends on where you live. In the northeast, we are seeing colors warming up. As I mentioned before, those cold grays are becoming more taupe or other colors are being added to them for interest. Some of my favorites in the past year or so are pinks and lavenders. I know some of you may be wincing at the thought. I'm not talking about pinks and lavenders of the past. Much more modern ones. I can tell you that I haven't had a single client dislike them when I've told them it was perfect for their particular space. Grays with a bit of a bottle-green or blue/green undertone have also been popular. I've also been choosing very soft yellows that are crisp and lemon-y. So, step a foot out of your comfort zone and try something new. You might be surprised at how refreshing it feels.
